Guardrail roof

CW Lundberg offers products and training in fall protection equipment

Fall protection equipment is required by law at heights above two meters. Examples of safety devices are guardrails or anchors. At the same time, the law requires anchors if the roof slope is lower than six degrees, the height is higher than two meters and there are no guardrails. Likewise, as a roofing worker, you must be continuously anchored if the roof slope is greater than six degrees, unless there are no guardrails. Exceptionally, the rules do not apply when you first install the anchors.

Another thing that is good to keep in mind is that the regulations require extra anchorages if the roof is sloping less than 27 degrees. The reason is to avoid pendulum effects that cause you to hit the wall.

At CW Lundberg, we have the best equipment for anchoring and securing the roof workers. For example, we sell anchors for low-sloping roofs and individual users. Alternatively, you can install a railing. Existing walkways, roof ladders, ridge rails, snow fences and rails around roof hatches may be used to anchor personal fall protection equipment. It is important to remember that all assemblies are in accordance with regulations and instructions. In addition, it is important that the attachment points meet the requirements for safety.

Our business in its current form was established in 1993. Since then, we have developed a complete product range that is all developed, manufactured and delivered from our factory in Mora.

If you have any questions regarding the rules that apply or regarding any of our products, do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help answer questions and guidance in roof safety. Also feel free to take a look at our website to read about our products and services.
